Privilege escalation in Foxit Reader before 9.5 and PhantomPDF before 8.3.10 or 9.x before 9.5 allows local users to execute code. The proxyDoAction request handler fails to validate user-supplied opcode data, allowing a race condition to trigger a stack-based buffer overflow or out-of-bounds read. Successful exploitation requires existing low-privileged code execution on Windows and runs code at medium integrity.
