Unauthenticated video disclosure via unprotected transfer routes
Published Oct 26, 2023 · Updated Sep 11, 2024
Improper access control in ABUS TVIP72500 Firmware allows remote attackers to view the camera's live video stream without authentication. The Boa configuration protects CGI image paths but transfers /video.mp4 and /video.mjpg to the same feed without applying password controls. Any network client that can reach the camera's web server can retrieve live imagery; the published impact is disclosure only.
