Unauthenticated control via unchecked application requests
Published Feb 24, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Improper authentication in optional applications on Drobo 5N2 4.0.5 allows remote attackers to control them over the network. The applications' web request handlers expose controls without performing authentication or authorization checks on incoming requests. Network access to an installed optional application is sufficient to read or alter its data and interrupt its service, with device data also exposed.
