Unauthenticated code execution via SpEL property binding

Code injection in Spring Data Commons 1.13.10 and earlier and 2.0.0 through 2.0.5 allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted parameters. MapDataBinder parses attacker-controlled property names as SpEL expressions under StandardEvaluationContext, whose capabilities permit evaluation beyond ordinary property access. The path is reachable through Spring Data REST HTTP resources or projection-based request payload binding; configured endpoint authentication limits access to authorized users.
