Database disclosure via injectable search author filter
Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026
Blind SQL injection in JoomBoost JoomRecipe 1.0.4 allows remote attackers to read database information through a crafted POST request. The search results endpoint places the search_author POST value into a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling boolean-based blind inference. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation depends on an exposed Joomla search page and returns data indirectly through true-or-false response differences.
