Write access via read-only interface authorization
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
Improper authorization in Hirschmann Industrial HiVision 06.0.00 through 06.0.05 and 07.0.00 allows remote authenticated users to alter devices. The web interface and SNMP browser fail to enforce the read-only role when issuing configuration writes to managed devices. A valid read-only account and network access to either interface are required; exploitation changes device configuration but does not interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
