Unauthenticated remote code execution
Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025
Remote code execution in QNAP Photo Station 5.4.x before 5.4.1 and 5.2.x before 5.2.7 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary code. QNAP links the flaw to XMR mining programs but has not disclosed the affected code locus or the wrong operation performed on untrusted input. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants code execution that can install mining software and disrupt NAS workloads.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
