Root code execution via writable host mounts

Improper volume-mount restriction in D2iQ Marathon before 1.9.0 allows remote attackers to execute code as root through the REST API. The application-definition handler accepts a Docker volume whose hostPath is / and mode is RW, exposing the host filesystem inside an attacker-controlled container. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated Marathon API that honors Docker definitions without authorization or mount-policy enforcement; a host cron entry yields root command execution.
