Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 9, 2025
SQL injection in Roommate-Bill-Tracking allows remote attackers to alter database queries through the unauthenticated login form. In includes/login.php, the vulnerable path accepted the posted username without server-side sanitization; the patch sanitizes it before authentication proceeds. No account or user interaction is required, and crafted input can affect stored data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
