Script injection via unescaped vendor description
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in WooCommerce Product Vendors before 2.0.36 allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the vendor registration form. The form reflects the vendor_description POST parameter into its response without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a victim to follow or submit an attacker-controlled request, causing the script to run in the victim's browser.
