Database query manipulation via injectable movie filter
Published Jul 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Union SQL injection in iTechScripts Movie Portal Script 7.36 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through movie.php. The movie.php handler places the GET parameter f in a UNION query context without neutralizing attacker-controlled SQL syntax, as shown by the published payload. Successful injection returns attacker-selected query results in the HTTP response; the cited assessments disagree on whether authentication is required.
