Unauthenticated database disclosure via show_news.php SQL injection
Published Jul 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Error-based SQL injection in iTechScripts Movie Portal Script 7.36 allows remote attackers to extract database data through the id parameter. The show_news.php endpoint processes the GET id value without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing a crafted subquery to expose query results through database-generated errors. No authentication or user interaction is required to submit the request, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of database data.
