Published Jul 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Blind SQL injection in iTechScripts Auction Script 6.49 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate SQL via mcid in mcategory.php. The mcategory.php handler incorporates the attacker-controlled mcid value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. Low-privileged access is required; blind condition responses disclose query results indirectly and database queries can be altered.
