Database disclosure via unneutralized scat parameter
Published Jul 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in iTechScripts Classifieds Script 7.27 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the scat parameter. The /subpage.php handler incorporates attacker-controlled scat input into an SQL query without neutralizing quote and UNION syntax, exposing selected database values in the response. The CNA requires low privileges, while NVD treats the endpoint as unauthenticated; the published proof of concept demonstrates database-value disclosure.
