Authentication bypass via crafted SQL credentials
Published Jul 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
SQL injection in KB Login Authentication Script 1.1 allows remote attackers to bypass login authentication through crafted credentials. The login handler incorporates username and password values into an SQL comparison without neutralizing quote-based input, allowing an always-true condition to change the query result. No account or user interaction is required; successful exploitation grants access as a database-returned user, while broader data effects are not publicly demonstrated.
