CVE-2017-20122Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated page-content modification via unsanitized form text

Published Jun 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Basic XSS in the Contact Form in 1C-Bitrix Site Manager 12.06.2015 allows remote authenticated users to modify page content via text. The component accepts HTML in the text argument without neutralizing script-related tags, so an injected image error handler executes in a viewer's browser. An authenticated submission and subsequent user interaction are required; the published payload demonstrates DOM text modification, not data disclosure or service interruption.
