Authenticated browser script execution via unsanitized group URL
Published Jun 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
DOM XSS in TrueConf Server 4.3.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser via /admin/group. The page incorporates attacker-controlled text from the URL into the DOM without sanitizing it before browser interpretation. A logged-in administrator must open a crafted link, after which the script runs in the TrueConf origin and can read or alter session-visible data.
