Local file disclosure via unchecked filePaht path
Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Path traversal in Staral Wang Album Lock - Hide Photos Video 4.0 allows remote attackers to read local app files via /getImage. The /getImage handler passes the filePaht query value to the Wi-Fi file server without confining the resolved path to the document directory. The Wi-Fi sharing service must be active and reachable; crafted GET requests disclose files accessible to the app container.
