CVE-2017-20084Public exploit

KNX configuration unlock via unchecked REST write

Published Jun 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

Authentication bypass in JUNG Smart Visu Server 1.0.804, 1.0.830, and 1.0.832 allows local users to unlock KNX configuration. The /rest/items/knxcom_datastore endpoint accepts a PUT setting lock_ga to false without validating the configured group-address password. Local access to the server interface is required; unlocking permits reassignment of connected-device controls.
