Root access via undocumented SSH accounts
Published Jun 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Hidden functionality in JUNG Smart Visu Server firmware 1.0.804, 1.0.830, and 1.0.832 allows local users to access SSH backdoor accounts. Two undocumented operating-system accounts accept SSH access on TCP port 55555, and one set of credentials grants a root shell. A local low-privileged position is required; successful authentication grants privileged control of the building-automation appliance.
