Published Jun 20, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Reflected XSS in Elefant CMS 1.3.12-RC allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser via a crafted name. The custom-fields component returns the name parameter from /admin/extended without encoding it for the generated HTML response. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and victim interaction, enabling script execution in the CMS origin that can expose cookies or issue requests as the victim.
