Stored script execution via unencoded settings fields
Published Jun 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored XSS in XYZScripts Contact Form Manager before 1.4.4 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser. The add_smtp.php and form-edit.php handlers store POSTed SMTP and contact-form values without proper filtering or output encoding. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to submit the crafted request; the stored payload runs when affected settings render.
