Arbitrary user actions via missing CSRF protection
Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Vendavo Pricepoint 4.6.0.0 allows remote attackers to perform arbitrary actions as an authenticated victim. The web application accepts state-changing requests, including DeleteUsers POST requests, without CSRF tokens or nonces. Exploitation requires a signed-in victim to visit an attacker-controlled page; resulting actions inherit the victim's privileges and can delete users, create accounts, assign roles, or change settings.
