Unauthenticated disclosure of team invite IDs
Published Jun 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Information exposure in Mattermost Server before 4.1.0, 4.0.4, and 3.10.3 allows remote attackers to discover team invite IDs. The public record identifies affected team API endpoints but does not disclose their routes or the code path that returns the identifier. No authentication or user interaction is required; a disclosed ID supplies the token embedded in a reusable team invite link, while the cited records report no data modification or service interruption.
