Browser script execution through undisclosed reflected input handling
Published Apr 20, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Reflected XSS in NETGEAR M4200 and M4300 switches before 12.0.2.15 allows attackers to run script in a user's browser. NETGEAR has not disclosed the affected web-management endpoint, input parameter, or missing output-encoding operation. A user must open a crafted request in a browser that can reach the switch interface; the script can read or alter data available to that session.
