Script execution via undisclosed stored input
Published Apr 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Stored XSS in NETGEAR ReadyNAS OS 6 before 6.8.0 allows attackers to execute script in another user's browser through stored input. NETGEAR has not published the affected interface, stored field, or missing output-encoding operation that causes the saved input to execute. Published assessments disagree on local versus network reachability; exploitation requires high privileges and user interaction, and execution is confined to the affected browser context.
