Script execution in a user's browser
Published Apr 21, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Reflected XSS in NETGEAR R6700v2 and R6800 before 1.1.0.42 allows attackers to execute script in a user's browser. NETGEAR does not disclose the affected request handler or parameter, or how untrusted input is returned without browser-safe encoding. A user must open a crafted request; the script then runs in the router interface's origin and can read or alter data exposed to that page.
