Unauthorized router management via forged cross-site requests
Published Apr 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in seven NETGEAR router models allows remote attackers to submit unauthorized management requests. NETGEAR has not published the affected management endpoint or the request-validation failure that accepts forged input. Affected firmware is R6100 before 1.0.1.12, R7500 before 1.0.0.108, WNDR3700v4 before 1.0.2.86, WNDR4300v1 before 1.0.2.88, WNDR4300v2 before 1.0.0.48, WNDR4500v3 before 1.0.0.48, and WNR2000v5 before 1.0.0.42; exploitation requires user interaction and permits unauthorized data access, configuration changes, or a service interrupt.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
