Published Apr 22, 2020 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Arbitrary file read in NETGEAR DST6501 before 1.1.0.6 and WNR2000v2 before 1.2.0.8 allows attackers to read files over an adjacent network. NETGEAR's advisory identifies no endpoint, component, parameter, or parsing error; the file-read mechanism is not publicly disclosed. Unauthenticated access requires no user interaction, and the grounded effect is limited to disclosure of file contents.
