Buffer overflow in NETGEAR R8300 and R8500 firmware before 1.0.2.106 allows remote authenticated users to compromise the routers. Neither NETGEAR nor the CVE record discloses the affected component, the oversized input, or the operation that mishandles it. Access from an adjacent network with high privileges is required, and triggering the flaw needs no separate user interaction.
