Code injection in BMC Remedy 9.1 SP3 allows remote authenticated users with report rights to execute server code via BIRT templates. The exposed BIRT report engine processes user-created templates as executable report content without restrictions that prevent code execution. A valid account and report-creation rights are required, although the disclosure states that this functionality appears available to all users by default.
