Host memory corruption via compromised WLAN firmware

Buffer overwrite in the WLAN host driver on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows attackers to corrupt host memory through compromised WLAN firmware. Qualcomm has not published the affected function, buffer, or unchecked firmware message that causes the overwrite. Exploitation requires control of the WLAN firmware and can affect host-driver confidentiality, integrity, and availability without user interaction.
