Out-of-bounds read in Google Android 7, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 8, and 8.1 allows remote attackers to crash media processing. The libmpeg2dec impeg2d_bit_stream_flush() function advances bitstream state without checking that the requested bits remain inside the input buffer. Exploitation requires no privileges but does require user interaction with MPEG-2 content; the bounded impact is a media-process crash.
