Unauthenticated file disclosure via scheduler query traversal
Published Aug 7, 2017 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Path traversal in SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java 7.5 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through the scheduler endpoint. The scheduler/ui/js/ffffffffbca41eb4/UIUtilJavaScriptJS handler accepts parent-directory segments in the query string, allowing file access outside the intended directory. Exploitation requires a reachable scheduler endpoint but no credentials or user interaction; the documented consequence is file disclosure, not code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
