Security bypass in Norton Mobile Security for Android before 3.16 allows remote attackers to add arbitrary URLs to its whitelist via crafted JavaScript. The URL-whitelist handler accepts attacker-controlled JavaScript delivered through a man-in-the-middle and inserts chosen URLs without adequate validation. Network interception is required, after which visits to those URLs can evade Norton web protection; no code execution or service interruption is documented.
