Arbitrary file read via wpv-image traversal
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Local file inclusion in myasui WP Vault 0.8.6.6 allows attackers to read arbitrary server files through the wpv-image GET parameter. The include functionality passes the unescaped parameter to a file inclusion operation, so traversal sequences escape the intended directory. No authentication is required; the disclosed impact is limited to reading accessible files such as system configuration and credentials.
