Browser-session compromise via unsanitized holiday fields
Published Mar 15, 2026 · Updated Mar 15, 2026
Stored XSS in ZKTeco ZKAccess Security System 5.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in users' browsers. The holiday-creation handler at /data/iaccess/AccHolidays/new stores holiday_name and memo values without sanitizing them before returning them in a page. A low-privileged user can plant the payload, which runs when another user views the saved holiday and can read or alter data available to that browser session.
