Service interruption via oversized USB endpoint descriptor

Out-of-bounds read in the Linux kernel before 4.8 allows physically proximate attackers to cause a service interrupt via a crafted USB device. The usb_parse_endpoint function in drivers/usb/core/config.c accepts reserved bits and out-of-range wMaxPacketSize values without checking them against endpoint type and device speed limits. Exploitation requires presenting a malicious endpoint descriptor through a USB device, and public sources do not specify whether the resulting interruption is a hang or crash.
