Remote code execution via oversized DNS decompression

Stack-based buffer overflow in Wind River VxWorks 6.5 through 7 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted DNS response. ipdnsc_decode_name() fails to count decompressed labels toward its 255-byte limit and writes the expanded name into a 255-byte stack buffer. The target must process a response from a hostile DNS server or a man-in-the-middle on its network; exploitation permits device takeover without authentication or user interaction.
