Unauthenticated backup disclosure via persistent web-root file
Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025
Information disclosure in Ubee EVW3226 firmware 1.0.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to read a configuration backup over the LAN. The web interface copies Configuration_file.cfg into the web root for download but neither checks a session nor deletes the file afterward. A backup must first have been generated; until reboot, the unencrypted archive exposes the plaintext administrator password and permits device administration.
