Client-side script execution via unanchored HTML detection

Cross-site scripting in Nagios XI before 5.4.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser through crafted input. The bundled jQuery main function uses an unanchored expression to classify strings as HTML, so a less-than sign later in attacker-controlled input can create executable markup. A victim must load affected content; this identifier is rejected as a downstream duplicate of CVE-2012-6708, and the Nagios-specific injection point remains undisclosed.
