Unauthenticated PHP code execution via object deserialization
Published Jul 23, 2025 · Updated Jul 15, 2026
PHP object injection in Kaltura Video Platform before 11.1.0-2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code without authentication. The keditorservices redirectWidgetCmd endpoint decodes the attacker-controlled kdata GET parameter and passes the serialized object to PHP unserialization, enabling a Zend gadget chain to invoke code. No session is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the web server process permissions.
