Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in KentoThemes Kento Post View Counter 2.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data via kento_pvc_geo. The plugin incorporates the user-supplied kento_pvc_geo value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. No authentication is required; successful injection lets attackers append SQL and extract sensitive information held by the WordPress database.
