SQL injection via unchecked sort direction
Published Jan 16, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in LiftKit Database before 2.13.2 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through a crafted sort direction. The processOrderBy method concatenates the caller-supplied direction into the ORDER BY clause without validation or neutralization. This permits attacker-chosen SQL in the host application database context only when a consuming application passes untrusted direction data.
