CSRF in NETGEAR device firmware before 2017-01-11 allows remote attackers to change device settings through malicious web content. NETGEAR has not published the affected request handler or the missing origin, token, or request-authentication check. A user must load malicious email or website content; router changes can enable private-network access, while Powerline impact is limited to settings changes.
