CVE-2016-11021Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via SystemCommand parameter

Published Mar 9, 2020 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

OS command injection in D-Link DCS-930L firmware before 2.12 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via HTTP requests. The /setSystemCommand endpoint passes the attacker-controlled SystemCommand POST value to the device shell without restricting it to safe commands. Administrative credentials and network access to the web interface are required, and successful exploitation grants privileged command execution on the camera.
