Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked download URL
Published Jul 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 5, 2024
Open proxy and authentication bypass in Pupunzi mb.miniAudioPlayer 1.7.6 and earlier allow remote attackers to download readable audio files. The map_download.php endpoint accepts an attacker-controlled audio-file location and streams it without enforcing a same-origin referrer check. No authentication is required; exposed installations can proxy requests to other sites or disclose mp3, mp4a, wav, and ogg files readable by the web server.
