XML external entity injection in PyAMF before 0.8.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files or interrupt service via crafted AMF payloads. PyAMF passes embedded XML to etree.fromstring() through standard XML loaders that permit DTD and external-entity resolution. A reachable application must decode attacker-controlled AMF; file reads are limited to the service account's access, while malicious entities can exhaust resources.
