Authenticated PHP code execution via autoloaded inclusion
Published Jan 15, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Remote code execution in Magento CE before 1.9.2.1 and EE before 1.14.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The V2 product create method passes a string-valued productData argument to property_exists, triggering Varien_Autoload to append .php and include an attacker-controlled path. Exploitation requires valid SOAP API credentials and PHP before 5.4.24 or PHP 5.4.25 through 5.5.7, and it executes code in the web store process.
