Authenticated script execution via unneutralized request parameters
Published Feb 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in NetCracker Resource Management System before 8.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via crafted parameters. The affected request handlers place attacker-controlled values from nine named parameters into web content without neutralizing HTML or script. A valid account and victim interaction are required; successful exploitation executes content in the victim's browser context and permits limited data access or page modification.
